D.C. police have taken two teenagers into custody for their involvement in three robberies in the Northeast area.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), two boys aged 16 and 17, reportedly robbed the victims while being armed with guns, before making their escape. The incidents of robbery took place at the specified locations:

- On Tuesday, July 2, around 10:40 p.m. in the 1000 block of Kearny Street, Northeast
- On Tuesday, July 2 around 10:40 p.m. in the 3500 block of 10th Street, Northeast
- On Wednesday, July 3 around 12:01 a.m. in the 3100 block of 9th Street, Northeast
With the assistance of the department’s Real Time Crime, MPD detectives were able to gather additional information, which resulted in the arrest of both teenagers.
Both of them faced charges of committing three armed robberies using a gun.
