During a rally in Waukesha, Wisconsin, Trump addressed the Columbia protests, describing them as an attack on New York.

Columbia University President Minouche Shafik faced criticism from him.

According to Trump, the woman in charge of the situation had hesitated for too long. He described her as weak, afraid, and ineffective. In his opinion, setting up tents would have been a faster and easier solution.

According to the statement, law enforcement authorities displayed commendable performance during a recent incident. The individual praised their efforts, acknowledging their swift action in a significant and prestigious building that had suffered extensive damage the previous night. The speaker emphasized the importance of preserving such iconic structures, expressing admiration for the police who successfully concluded the situation within a remarkable two-hour timeframe. Witnessing this efficient resolution was described as a truly captivating experience, with the individual referring to the officers involved as “New York’s finest.”

Pro-Palestinian protesters who are against Israel’s military campaign in Gaza took control of Hamilton Hall on Monday, marking an intensification of the ongoing campus protests that started around two weeks ago. Late on Tuesday, New York police officers entered the building through a window, equipped with riot shields and zip ties, and proceeded to arrest multiple protesters as they worked to clear the area.

According to a spokesperson from the university, officers were called for assistance by the school. They arrived at the scene in response to the request.

The Columbia University protests have gained national attention, but college campuses across the country are also witnessing similar demonstrations. These protests stem from the outrage over the war in Gaza, which has resulted in the deaths of thousands of Palestinians. Israel’s response to Hamas’s October terrorist attacks, which claimed the lives of approximately 1,000 Israelis, has further fueled the discontent.

Trump, the Republican nominee for president, criticized Biden on Wednesday for not publicly commenting on the protests, which he referred to as a “disgrace”.

According to Trump, Biden has been completely absent and silent amidst the current issues. Trump believes that in times like these, it is important for a leader to address the problem and engage with the people. However, Trump also believes that even if Biden were to speak up, it wouldn’t make a difference.

Trump emphasized the need for college presidents to take immediate action by removing the encampments, eliminating radical elements, and reclaiming their campuses for the benefit of all regular students seeking a secure environment for learning.

In his recent public remarks, Biden expressed condemnation for both antisemitism and those who fail to comprehend the situation unfolding in Gaza involving Palestinians.

Throughout the conflict, Biden has been walking a delicate tightrope, striking a balance between supporting Israel’s right to retaliate against Hamas and vehemently denouncing antisemitism in the aftermath of the attack. Simultaneously, he has been advocating for Israel to increase humanitarian aid to Gaza and take further measures to safeguard innocent civilians.
