Even by the Biden administration’s poor standards, Alejandro Mayorkas stands out as a moron.
The Homeland Security secretary went to “the border” on Wednesday, which was a fictional location in Tucson, 70 miles away, and absolved himself of all responsibility for the dangers posed by rampant illegal immigration.

“The individual who is responsible for a heinous criminal act is the criminal,” Mayorkas dismissively stated.
Absolutely false. The Department of Homeland Security is responsible for providing homeland security, which Mayorkas is both incapable of and unwilling to do.
Mayorkas stated as much, claiming that US authorities do not wait for the vetting process to prevent border crossings.
“If we learn of derogatory information later in the process,” he claimed, “then we take enforcement action accordingly.”
So you let rapists, murderers, and terrorists into the country and then tried to track them down weeks, months, or years later?
