A Columbia University graduate student gained widespread attention on the internet when he expressed concerns to the media about the protesters’ well-being, warning that their lives could be in danger or they could suffer from serious illness if they were not provided with food and water.

When asked about Columbia’s responsibility to provide food access for students occupying the campus building Hamilton Hall, the student emphasized that they are obligated to provide food to students who pay for a meal plan here, stating, “First of all, we’re saying that they’re obligated to provide food to students who pay for a meal plan here.”

According to National Review, the individual in question is Johannah King-Slutzky, an instructor and Ph.D. candidate at Columbia University.

Two Columbia students who confronted a mob have come forward to share their story, revealing that they were being surveilled by a car filled with masked individuals.

A Columbia student gained online attention when they expressed concern that protesters could face life-threatening consequences if authorities failed to provide them with food and water.

“I think it ultimately comes down to how Columbia perceives its responsibility towards its students,” King-Slutzky commented. “Would they prefer students to suffer from dehydration and malnutrition or become seriously ill, even if their views differ from the university’s?”

She expressed her concern, saying, “If the response is negative, then it is essential to provide basic humanitarian assistance. It may sound surprising, considering the fact that we are on an Ivy League campus, but all we are asking for is a simple glass of water.”

“Columbia students who have occupied a campus building are now demanding access to food and water, citing it as a fundamental right,” expressed Clay Travis, the founder of Outkick. He added, “It’s quite astonishing, isn’t it?”

Columbia students who witnessed the takeover of a building by anti-Israel protesters have come forward to express their feelings of isolation and vulnerability.

During the incident, a reporter questioned the student about her food and water demands in a somewhat skeptical manner, suggesting that she was asking for provisions while simultaneously advocating for a revolution. The reporter’s remark seemed to imply a contradiction between the student’s revolutionary aspirations and her need for sustenance.

Yale professor Nicholas Christakis criticized the remarks and arguments made by an individual, stating that they do not reflect the mindset of a serious individual. According to Christakis, the person in question lacks the ability to defend their views using factual evidence and logical reasoning. It appears that this individual believes they are victorious in the battle of ideas merely by expressing their desires, indicating a lack of proper education at their university.

Liberal commentator Joanne Carducci emphasized the importance of packing snacks for every good revolutionary.

Carducci added that the fact that this ends with ‘but the Grubhub’ could be seen as a powerful reflection of the current era we live in.

Conservative commentator and show host Liz Wheeler criticized a professor at Columbia University, stating that her entire bio on the university’s website revolves around a Marxist viewpoint. Wheeler went on to describe the professor as a “literal communist” who constantly complains and demands someone to bring her a lunch box.

During an interview, a reporter questioned the student about her requests for food and water. The reporter pointed out that it seemed as if the student was implying that they wanted to be revolutionaries and take over the building, while simultaneously asking for food.

“We’re not expecting them to bring anything,” she replied. “We simply request that they don’t prevent us from delivering essential humanitarian assistance.”

The New York Police Department successfully cleared Hamilton Hall on Columbia’s campus of protesters on Tuesday night, around 11 p.m. ET. This action took place nearly 24 hours after the students had occupied the building.
