In May, Donald Trump and the Republican National Committee boasted about receiving an astounding $141 million in donations, which they attribute to a significant surge in contributions following the former president’s criminal conviction.
According to an announcement by Trump’s campaign on Monday, May has been their most successful month of the year in terms of donations. However, the figures cannot be confirmed until federal filings are made public later in June. The campaign attributed this surge in donations to the widespread support for President Trump amidst the sham Biden trial and verdict, which has outraged and motivated Americans from all walks of life.
According to the news release, the campaign received an impressive two million donations in May, with an average value of $70.27 per donation. Remarkably, a quarter of the donors were new supporters last month. Interestingly, over a third of the total donations, amounting to $53 million, poured in just 24 hours after Trump was found guilty of 34 criminal charges in New York.
In a statement, Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles, senior advisers of Trump Campaign, expressed their gratitude for the overwhelming support shown towards President Donald J. Trump. They highlighted how the American people didn’t fall for Crooked Joe Biden’s rigged trial and sent a strong message to him and the Democrats. According to them, the real verdict will come on November 5th.
According to the campaignโs announcement, an extra $150 million was raised in May by organizations that support President Trump. However, it was not mentioned which specific groups were included in this claim.
According to a statement given to Axios by Biden campaign spokesman Ammar Moussa, it remains to be seen how the numbers will play out in July, but one thing is certain: Trump’s wealthy associates are supporting the campaign of a corporate criminal. They know the drill – they fund him, and he rewards them with tax cuts, leaving working people and the middle class to foot the bill.
