According to court documents, the suspected Long Island serial killer had meticulously outlined a murder plot in his notes.

The Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Alyssa Jane Venable following a high-speed police chase.

Around 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, the New York State troopers spotted a gray 2009 Honda Civic that matched the vehicle known to be driven by Venable. Despite their attempts to stop her, she refused, leading to a high-speed chase that reached up to 100 mph.

By using a tire deflation device, the police were successful in apprehending Venable after her vehicle crashed. As a precaution, she was taken to a local hospital. Homicide detectives had previously cautioned the public that Venable was armed and dangerous.

According to recent reports, the suspect in the Gilgo Beach serial killer case may have more victims and hunting grounds than the authorities initially believed.

Around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office received a call for a welfare check at the 10500 block of White Street Court. Upon arrival, they discovered the victims in the fourth house on the right. (Image source: Google Maps)

The authorities of New York State Police are currently in the process of handling a fugitive warrant for Venable and are also arranging for his extradition.

The Spotsylvania County Sheriffโ€™s Office responded to a welfare check call at the 10500 block of White Street Court around 10 p.m. Tuesday. Upon arriving at the location, they discovered the victims: Robert John McGuire, 77, Gregory Scott Powell, 60, and Carol Anne Reese, 65. The incident occurred in a home situated about 60 miles south of Washington DC.

The nature of Venable’s connection to the victims remains ambiguous, and it is not clear whether they are related or what kind of relationship they share.

According to NBC Washington’s sources, the occupants of the house were known to be reserved and didn’t interact much with their neighbors. The locals speculated that Venable had only recently moved into the residence, approximately a month ago.

According to NBC, Venable faced a misdemeanor assault and battery charge last month. It is unclear at this time if this incident is related to the recent triple homicide, but it will certainly be investigated by the sheriff’s office.
