Court documents reveal that Timberlake was pulled over by an officer in Sag Harbor at 12:37 a.m. for driving through a stop sign at Madison Street and Jermain Avenue. The officer observed Timberlake driving a gray BMW through the stop sign and failing to stay on the right side of the road.

The moment was captured by Hamptons.com’s surveillance camera, revealing Timberlake’s drive through Sag Harbor just before his encounter with the authorities.

According to the officer, the individual was inebriated, exhibiting bloodshot and glassy eyes, and emitting a strong scent of alcohol from their breath. Additionally, the person performed poorly on all conventional field sobriety tests.

According to the officer, Timberlake claimed, “I only had one martini and I simply followed my friends home.”

According to the documents, he declined to take a breath test on three separate occasions.

According to court officials, he appeared in Sag Harbor Village Justice Court for arraignment on Tuesday morning around 9:30 a.m. and was subsequently released on his own recognizance. His next court appearance is scheduled to be held virtually on July 26.

According to CBS New York’s Jenna DeAngelis, Timberlake’s lawyer, Edward Burke Jr., stated that he will strongly defend his client and is presently involved in the discovery process with the district attorney’s office.

Singer Billy Joel, others react to Timberlake’s arrest

Located within the Hamptons, Sag Harbor is a popular celebrity destination situated roughly 100 miles from New York City. During a chance encounter with singer Billy Joel on Tuesday, DeAngelis inquired about Timberlake’s recent arrest.

Joel’s words were a reminder to refrain from judging others, as one may also face judgment in return. “Judge not, lest ye be judged,” he emphasized.

On Tuesday, the whole village was abuzz with the news of Timberlake’s arrest.

Audrey Goodrich, a resident of Bridgehampton, expressed her disappointment over someone getting behind the wheel and driving in their small town without considering the potential consequences. She believes that no one is infallible, but still feels let down by this behavior.

According to Sam Pezz, in this era of technology and ride-sharing services like Uber, there is absolutely no justification for individuals like Justin, who possess abundant resources, to drive under the influence.

David Spon, a resident of Sag Harbor, expressed hope that individuals will now reconsider their actions, particularly in the town.

One individual expressed surprise at the fact that he was driving his own car. They also emphasized the importance of taking responsibility for one’s own actions.

At 43 years old, Timberlake is currently embarking on his “Forget Tomorrow” world tour to promote his latest album “Everything I Thought It Was.” This tour will take him to various locations across the United States, including Chicago, New York City, Boston, and Baltimore, before heading overseas.

Justin Timberlake, a Tennessee native and former member of the group NSYNC, has cemented his position as one of the top-selling music artists globally. He began his career as a Disney Mouseketeer, and after NSYNC, he pursued a solo music career and acted in several movies, including “The Social Network” and “Friends With Benefits”.

With 10 Grammy awards and four Emmys under their belt, the celebrated performer has proven their exceptional talent.
