A brave 15-year-old girl managed to defend herself against an assailant who attempted to sexually assault her in a frightening incident within a park in the Bronx, according to authorities.
A teenage girl was strolling along a path in Pelham Bay Park at around 5 p.m. on Saturday when she was approached by an unknown man. The man engaged her in conversation, according to the police.
The courageous teenager managed to defend herself against her attacker, who quickly fled the scene, according to the authorities.
A teacher, who is accused of having sexual relationships with two of her students, tearfully shared that the baby she had with one of them was taken away from her.
According to the police, the victim declined any medical treatment for their minor injuries.

The NYPD released a mugshot of the perpetrator, who is said to be between 20 and 30 years old. The assailant has a medium complexion, a slim build, a mustache, curly eyelashes, and thick eyebrows.
The individual was last spotted donning a green hooded sweatshirt paired with black sweatpants.
