According to the authorities, at around 1:30 a.m. on June 9th, officers from the NYPD’s 52nd Precinct in the Bronx attempted to stop a driver who was 19 years old. However, the driver fled from the traffic stop.
It seems that the car broke down, and as a result, the driver quickly abandoned it and fled.
He was jogging down the Henry Hudson Parkway toward the GWB’s southbound upper level when he reportedly fell through a breach in the elevated parkway and ended up on Riverside Drive, according to the NYPD.
Authorities declared the unnamed man dead after EMS transported him to NYC Health Harlem Hospital.
