A woman has been arrested by the police for fatally beating a man with a wooden table leg on a street in Harlem. The incident took place early on Tuesday morning. According to the authorities, the suspect has been taken into custody.
Sabrina Charles, aged 39, has been charged with murder as well as criminal possession of a stolen property and criminal possession of a weapon by the officials.
Police reports indicate that at approximately 4:20 a.m., the victim, believed to be in his 40s, was with Charles engaging in drug use when the victim was assaulted with a wooden table leg on Hancock Place near West 124th Street.
The victim was quickly transported to Mount Sinai Morningside by EMS after sustaining trauma wounds to his head and body. Sadly, he was later pronounced dead.
According to the police, they found a table leg that seemed to have blood stains on it during the investigation.
