A woman was shot and wounded while waiting for a bus in Brooklyn on Sunday evening, according to police, who were looking for the perpetrator.
Investigators suspect the 39-year-old lady was a bystander and not the intended victim of the shooting at 7:40 p.m. at Church and Utica avenues in East Flatbush.
The woman was waiting for a bus outside a deli at the busy junction when bullets went out, and a bullet injured her in the leg, according to authorities.
She received non-life-threatening injury treatment at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County.
There were no arrests or injuries reported immediately.
