Louisville, Kentucky investigators are currently on the hunt for a suspect and any possible leads in connection to a mass shooting that occurred at a nightclub early Saturday morning. The tragic incident resulted in one fatality and seven individuals being wounded.
The Louisville Metro Police Department reported that a man with gunshot wounds was found by first responders after officers received a call at approximately 12:47 a.m. for shots fired outside the H20 lounge.
According to the authorities, EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene who remains unidentified.
As per the LMPD, another victim, whose identity is yet to be disclosed, was quickly taken to University Hospital with severe injuries that are suspected to be critical and life-threatening.
According to the police, later in the morning, it was discovered that six other victims of the shooting had transported themselves to nearby hospitals. Fortunately, their injuries were non-life threatening.
It is currently unknown what the relationship was between the victims. The investigation is still ongoing at this time.
