A family from rural Kansas, consisting of a mother and her two young daughters, has gone missing over the weekend. The authorities involved in the investigation suspect that they might have been coerced to travel to a religious rehabilitation center in Mexico.
According to a Facebook post by the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, Martha Unger, a 23-year-old woman, along with her two daughters, Madilynn Grace Unger (2) and Haylie Faith Unger (1), were reported missing from their residence in rural Haskell County, shortly before 7 p.m. on Friday.
According to authorities, a couple in their fifties may have taken the young family out of the country against their will.
According to the KBI, the older couple in the picture may have forced the victims to accompany them to a religious rehabilitation center in Mexico.
The authorities have appealed to the public to assist in locating the family that has gone missing.
According to reports, the Klassens are currently traveling in a Chevy Blazer that is predominantly white and black in color. The vehicle has a Mexico tag attached to it. Corney, who is one of the Klassens, is described as a male who stands at around 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. He is clean-shaven and was last seen wearing a button-up shirt and jeans.
Although no official description of Elizabeth Klaasen was given by the authorities, a photo of the couple was provided which indicates that they both have brown hair, wear glasses, and are of white ethnicity.
Police reports indicate that the mother who has been reported missing is currently driving a 2015 white Ford Explorer with a Kansas license plate that reads โ301RJY.โ
According to reports, she is a young Caucasian woman, with a height of around 5 feet 6 inches and a weight of approximately 120 pounds.
According to the police, Martha’s hair is brown and she has green eyes, whereas her daughters have blonde hair and blue eyes.
