Oklahoma City – In remembrance of the 29th anniversary of the OKC bombing, Governor Kevin Stitt has directed all American and Oklahoma flags on state property to be lowered to half-staff.
Stitt emphasized in an executive order, “We honor the memory of the 168 individuals, among them 19 children, who lost their lives, and the over 850 others who were injured on that Wednesday morning. The world witnessed Oklahomans uniting in a remarkable display of solidarity, epitomized by The Oklahoma Standard.”
Flags will be flown at half-staff from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
