Three individuals, including a Coweta County deputy, injured in car accident and taken to hospital

The Georgia State Patrol is currently investigating a crash that involves a deputy from Coweta County.

The incident took place on a Saturday.

According to GSP, a Coweta County deputy was driving north when their vehicle proceeded through the intersection of Ga. 154 with Ga. 34. The deputy had their emergency lights and siren activated and encountered a red light.

The intersection of GA 34 and GA 154 witnessed a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe heading west in the right lane. The vehicle had a green light as it proceeded through the intersection.
