A Lottery player, known as “H.B.,” is feeling fortunate after yet another win, despite being accustomed to winning five-figure prizes. H.B., who frequently plays the Lottery and travels across the DMV region for work, is confident in his luck.
“H.B.” mentioned that he drives extensively throughout Maryland, Virginia, and DC as part of his job. During his travels, he sometimes takes the opportunity to visit specific stores in each jurisdiction and purchase scratch-off tickets.
Before picking up his customer, he made a fortuitous visit to the 7-Eleven on North Point Boulevard in Baltimore.
The driver decided to scratch the $10 instant ticket inside the store and was pleasantly surprised to find an “autowin” symbol with a $50,000 prize underneath.
H.B. expressed initial disbelief and admitted, “At first, I didn’t believe it. And I said, ‘Let me look at it again.”
With a smile on his face, he happily collected his winnings amounting to $20,000 at Maryland Lottery Headquarters in Baltimore. However, he clarified that it was not the $50,000 he had initially hoped for.
After securing a significant victory, the driver expressed his intention to use the winnings to settle outstanding bills and potentially invest in a new vehicle.
