According to owner Ashley Dow, he made the decision to go up on campus and simply started spending time with the college students. The result? They absolutely adore him.
For the past four years, he has been a familiar face on campus, delighting students whenever they spot him. They eagerly approach him, picking him up and capturing selfies together. Surprisingly, he even joins tours with potential students who gather at a nearby building, right across from his family’s house.

Dow is affectionately known as Max’s mom by the students, and even graduates who come back to town often inquire about Max’s well-being.
Max will not be participating in the graduation ceremony. Instead, his degree will be delivered to Dow at a later time.
