According to an article in The New York Times, Senator John Fetterman, a former progressive, has now shifted towards a centrist position, causing some of his top political advisers to leave his team. Notable departures include his longtime adviser and confidante Rebecca Katz, who has been with him since 2015, as well as Adam Jentleson, his former Senate chief of staff. In addition, three press staffers, including his communications director, have also resigned. The Times pointed out that despite these departures, Fetterman’s office has a lower turnover rate compared to the average Senate office. However, the significance of these departures lies in the fact that these individuals were instrumental in helping Fetterman reach his current position, prior to his shift away from the political left.
