According to ESPN, two women have filed lawsuits against McManus, accusing him of sexually assaulting them during a charter flight to London last year. The Jacksonville Jaguars, McManus’ former team, have acknowledged the complaint and the serious nature of the allegations.

The Jaguars emphasized the importance of an organization built by individuals who truly embody the values and spirit of our community and the game. In their statement, they stated, “As we continue to investigate the matter, we want to ensure that those who represent our team do so with the utmost character and class.”

According to ESPN, two women, referred to as Jane Doe I and Jane Doe II, have filed a lawsuit against McManus, alleging that he rubbed and ground against them during the flight. The plaintiffs also claim that the Jaguars failed to properly supervise McManus and create a safe working environment for staff members. Seeking more than $1 million in damages, the women have requested a jury trial for their case.

McManus’ lawyer vehemently denied the allegations, stating that they were completely fabricated and without any evidence to support them.

“We are fully committed to vigorously defending Brandon’s rights and reputation, and proving these allegations for what they really are – an attempt at extortion,” stated Brett R. Gallaway of McLaughlin & Stern in a press release sent to The Associated Press.

McManus, who will be turning 33 in July, joined Washington in March after spending a decade in the league. The Philadelphia native initially played at Temple University before spending nine seasons with the Denver Broncos.
