Former President Trump’s 2016 campaign executive, Steve Bannon, expressed his frustration with House Republicans on Monday. According to Bannon, these Republicans not only want to see the “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) movement disappear but also hope for the former president to fail in his 2024 White House bid.
“The Justice Department should have been proactive in sending letters to preserve their documents. It is concerning that hearings have not been conducted and necessary actions have not been taken to address these issues. The lack of support for President Trump is evident in the inaction of the department,” Bannon commented.
The conservative pundit criticized Jordan, the House Judiciary Committee chair, stating that the Ohio Republican’s backing of Trump has been purely for show.
Bannon jokingly remarked, “Instead of going on ‘Hannity’ and sharing your plans with the world through tweets, just take action.”
Bannon echoed the sentiments of the Georgia Republican, stating, “Johnson must be removed.”
