Former FBI Director James Comey believes that it is feasible to imprison former President Trump, despite certain logistical challenges.

During an interview on “Inside with Jen Psaki” on Sunday, Comey addressed the public’s concerns regarding the potential logistical challenges that may arise if law enforcement institutions attempt to incarcerate Trump. The former president was recently convicted on 34 felony counts for falsifying false business records in order to conceal potentially damaging information prior to the 2016 presidential election.

When asked about his agreement with the concerns, Comey responded with a simple, “No.”

“They would place him in a double wide, located near the fence, out in the grass. He would have his meals there, shower, exercise, and be separated from the general population,” Comey explained, referring to Danya Perry, the attorney of Michael Cohen, Trump’s former fixer, who was incarcerated for related offenses.

Comey emphasized that achieving this goal is certainly possible.

On July 11, Trump will face sentencing, with no current detainment. As for what comes next, Comey expressed uncertainty regarding whether Trump would be required to wear an ankle bracelet or serve time in jail.

When questioned about the possibility of either scenario, Comey expressed skepticism, stating, “I don’t know. It seems unlikely.” However, he emphasized that he had never witnessed a defendant so fervently seeking it, highlighting their actions of attacking the judge, jury, and witnesses.

“When determining an appropriate sentence, judges often consider whether the defendant expresses remorse and shows respect for the legal system. In this case, however, the defendant seems to be going in the opposite direction.”

Trump violated his gag order on 10 occasions, resulting in a hefty fine of $10,000. Following the trial, Trump expressed his dissatisfaction with the judge and the Manhattan district attorney, reiterating numerous talking points that he has consistently conveyed to the public.

Trump criticized the trial as being highly unfair, expressing his dissatisfaction with the proceedings on Friday.

According to Trump, Judge Juan Merchan, who may appear angelic, has actually been crucifying witnesses who support his side.
