The loved ones of Johnny Wactor, the actor who was tragically shot to death, gathered at the location of the incident in downtown Los Angeles. Their aim was to urge officials to make arrests in the case, which remains unsolved.
During an emotional news conference, Micah Parker, a friend of Wactor, expressed his grief over the untimely and savage death of one of the greatest men he has ever known. “He was taken away from his mother, brothers, extended family, friends, and fans,” Parker lamented.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Wactor, who is a former actor on “General Hospital”, was shot “without provocation” at approximately 3:25 a.m. on May 25th. This incident occurred after he had finished his shift at a bar and was walking towards his car.
According to a statement released by the police, three individuals were caught in the act of stealing the catalytic converter from the victim’s car. They had used a floor jack to raise the car up when the victim confronted them.
According to Wactor’s family and friends, when he was with a female co-worker, he quickly positioned himself in front of her to shield and protect her.
According to Colin Flynn, a friend of Wactor’s, the shooter had a mask on and was holding a gun. Wactor reportedly stepped forward to shield his colleague and the shooter fired before fleeing the scene.
Parker issued a strong warning to the perpetrators, stating, “We will locate you.”
Parker declared that it is no longer acceptable for individuals to terrorize the streets, stealing and killing without consequences.
Parker expressed his gratitude to the LAPD officers who were present, acknowledging their bravery and dedication in risking their lives for the community. He also urged them to continue their pursuit of justice and not give up until the three murderers are held accountable for their heinous crime.
During Wednesday’s news conference, Joseph Iniguez, the chief deputy of the LA district attorney, stated that there are several leads being investigated in the case.
According to the spokesperson, they are cooperating with LAPD on an ongoing investigation. While refraining from disclosing any specific details, he mentioned that the case is being handled by their Major Crimes Division, which comprises their top legal experts.
Grant Wactor, the actor’s brother, spoke at the news conference with a soft-spoken tone and expressed his love for his brother, saying, “It hurts. He was 37 years old and his sudden passing was unexpected.”
Johnny Wactor’s loved ones reside in South Carolina, however, his circle of friends is based in Los Angeles. Grant Wactor stated that his family is determined to work towards making the city a safer place for them.
After the news conference, Parker took charge and urged the city and state leaders to take necessary measures to safeguard the residents. He even led a march to LA City Hall to emphasize the gravity of the situation and press for action.
Parker emphasized the urgency of prioritizing public safety in the city, stating, “If we do not take action now, it could have been one of us, and it will be one of us.”
Kevin de Leรณn, a member of the LA City Council, is calling on anyone who has information to come forward.
“He said that even a small tip could be the crucial piece of information needed to solve the case and prevent any more violence.”
