On Saturday, June 15, at around 7:25 PM, a 38-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman sustained injuries after a violent altercation in front of 3161 Broadway in New York, NY. Police reports indicate that the man was involved in a heated argument with two assailants whose identities remain unknown.
The conflict immediately escalated when one assailant stabbed the man twice in the left flank and shot him once in the left shoulder. The bullet then exited and accidentally injured a female bystander in the right hand. After the attack, the offenders fled in an unknown direction.
