According to law enforcement sources, approximately 8,000 to 10,000 individuals attended the Bronx rally of former President Donald Trump, as reported by The Post on Friday.
Thousands of Trump supporters eagerly lined up for hours outside the security gates of Crotona Park, eagerly anticipating a glimpse of the 45th president. This Thursday night rally marked his first appearance in New York City since 2016. The park, with a permit allowance of 3,500 people, served as the venue for this highly anticipated event.
People were still being allowed to enter the event right up until the moment Trump finished his speech.
A prestigious New York City school, which prides itself on its dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), has recently been the victim of offensive and hateful anti-Israel graffiti. The graffiti was discovered at the school, with messages that aimed to spread negativity and division. This incident has drawn attention to the ongoing struggle against hate speech and the importance of fostering an inclusive and respectful environment within educational institutions.
According to Karoline Leavitt, Trump’s national secretary, the total number of attendees was reported to be 25,000. However, another campaign staffer estimated that around 10,000 people showed up.
The crowd size was hard to determine because thousands of people were being admitted through security gates in a staggered manner. The park and the vicinity of Trump’s stage had ample space to accommodate more individuals during his entire speech. His team made every effort to comply with the capacity limit.
Gov. Kathy Hochul has faced criticism for referring to Trump supporters in New York as “clowns,” drawing parallels to Hillary Clinton’s infamous “basket of deplorables” comment.
According to The Post, Chris LaCivita, an adviser to Trump, mentioned that a whopping 20,000 individuals have registered to attend the rally.
Attendees at the park were heard expressing their dissatisfaction with the limitations in accommodating them.

According to Danielle Alvarez, a representative from the Trump campaign, the rally was intended to demonstrate that the former president is not afraid to visit traditionally Democratic voting areas. Although it was not as large as his previous gathering in Wildwood, NJ, the event aimed to make a statement about Trump’s willingness to engage with diverse audiences.
Trump saw the Bronx as a chance to connect with black and Hispanic voters in New York, a demographic that he has been able to attract in significant numbers, as indicated by recent polls.
Despite suffering double-digit losses in his home state of New York in both the 2016 and 2020 elections, Trump remains determined to secure victory in the state in 2024.
