Federal officials have reported that 32-year-old Damonte Lewis was apprehended on Tuesday, July 2nd.
Marshals accuse him of raping a woman in Philadelphia, then shooting her and her boyfriend after authorities reported the crime.

On June 24, the incident occurred in a second-floor bedroom of a North Peach Street home, according to Philadelphia police. Authorities reported that they shot a 40-year-old male in the neck and took him to the hospital in severe condition, while they hit a 39-year-old woman in the right shoulder and stabilized her.
The PPD described the motive as “possibly domestic,” and they found a gun on the scene.
