According to a recent survey, former President Trump continues to hold a lead over President Biden in a hypothetical match-up.
According to a recent survey conducted by SSRS for CNN, Trump currently holds a 49 percent support among registered voters, while Biden trails slightly behind with 43 percent. These figures have remained relatively stable since the previous two CNN surveys conducted in January and last fall.
In the previous surveys, Trump enjoyed a support of 49 percent, while Biden garnered 45 percent.
According to the survey, a notable seventeen percent of voters expressed unfavorable views towards both Biden and Trump.
Trump expressed his thoughts on the poll through social media.
“Can you believe it? Even CNN, of all places, is showing some good poll numbers against the worst president in the history of the United States (by far!),” exclaimed the author on Truth Social.
The CNN poll surveyed a total of 1,212 participants, of which 967 were registered voters. The survey was conducted from April 18-23, with a margin of sampling error of 3.4 percentage points.
According to recent national polls, Biden and Trump are locked in a tight race. The Hill/Decision Desk’s national polling average reveals that Trump holds a narrow lead with 45.3 percent of support, while Biden trails closely behind with 44.7 percent.
