Residents in Hackensack are on edge after a carjacking incident occurred at a Wawa early in the morning.
According to the police, a 43-year-old man from New York was allegedly approached by four men who forcibly took several of his belongings, including his 2018 Land Rover.
There were no reported injuries.
The convenience store located on River Street is a well-known spot among Uber and Lyft drivers, according to News 12 New Jersey.
The police are currently investigating the incident and News 12 is awaiting updates from them regarding the suspects’ description and any arrests that may have been made.
