Authorities said that they arrested a New York City school crossing guard in Queens on sexual assault charges on Tuesday.
At 8:30 a.m., police arrested Jared Jeridore, 24, while he was off duty. According to the police, Jeridore was charged with attempted rape, attempted use of a child in a sexual performance, attempted circulation of indecent material to children, official misconduct, and acting in a way that would harm a child under the age of seventeen.
