According to a recent report by The Daily Mail, Pennsylvania state Representative Ryan Mackenzie, who is currently running for the U.S. Congress as a “proven conservative” in the state’s Seventh District, allegedly lied about his age on a dating profile by almost a decade. Despite being 37 years old at the time, the Republican politician claimed to be 29 years old on his Tinder profile, which was dated March 2020. The profile also described him as “outgoing, funny, and enjoy traveling, skiing, trying new restaurants, and getting drinks with friends.” Screenshots obtained by The Daily Mail show that he messaged at least one woman, asking if she was “surviving the pandemic?” A spokesperson for his campaign confirmed that he was not married or engaged at the time, but he is now married to Chloe, and they have a son together. It’s worth noting that Mackenzie’s mother, Milou Mackenzie, also serves in the Pennsylvania House.
