A Mexican court has ordered the prosecution of the individual accused of murdering two Australians and an American during a surfing trip. Chilling details have emerged about the alleged confession made by the suspect.
A hearing was conducted for Jesus Gerardo “N” in Ensenada, Baja California, where the bodies of brothers Callum and Jake Robinson, and their friend Jack Carter Rhoad, were discovered last Friday. Jesus Gerardo, also known as “El Kekas,” a slang term for quesadillas, faced the court proceedings.
According to the BBC, the suspect’s girlfriend testified in court, revealing that he admitted to killing the three friends upon his return from their campsite. The woman, who is 23 years old, informed investigators that he came to her house on April 28 and revealed that he had done something to “three gringos.”
According to court testimony, she inquired about the meaning behind his words, to which he responded with a chilling admission: “I killed them.”
According to prosecutors, he presented her with new tires that were supposedly stolen from the three surfers, as reported by the BBC.
According to the state prosecutor’s office, the suspect will face prosecution for the crime of “disappearance committed by private individuals.” Additionally, it is anticipated that homicide charges will be filed against the individual in the future.
The prosecution is currently collecting evidence to file charges against two additional suspects who are still in custody for the alleged possession of methamphetamine.

Jake, who was 30 years old, was known for being a “happy, gentle, and compassionate individual, dedicated to pursuing a career in medicine.” Additionally, he had a deep passion for surfing and cricket.

Rhoad had plans to marry Natalie Weirtz on August 17th in Columbus, Ohio, as stated in their online wedding registry on Zola. A GoFundMe campaign was initiated to gather support for Natalie, and it has already raised more than $80,000 as of Thursday morning.
