According to the website of the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, Shifty Shellshock, whose real name was Seth Brooks Binzer and known as the lead singer of Crazy Town, passed away on Monday at his residence.
Authorities are currently investigating the reason for the person’s passing.
In the 1990s, Crazy Town was fronted by Binzer as the lead singer. One of their most popular songs was “Butterfly” from their album titled The Gift of the Game, released in 1999.
In 2002, the band comprising of Bret Mazur, Rust Epique, James Bradley Jr., Doug Miller, Adam Goldstein (DJ AM), and Antonio Lorenzo “Trouble” Valli disbanded.
In 2004, Shellshock embarked on a solo career and launched his album “Happy Love Sick”.
Having battled addiction, the vocalist was featured on two editions of VH1’s Celebrity Rehab and two seasons of Sober House.
