Stormy Daniels is calling for Donald Trump to face jail time or be sentenced to community service after their hush money trial resulted in a guilty verdict.
“I was absolutely shocked when the jury found Trump guilty on all counts,” said the former adult actress who was at the center of the trial. This verdict makes him the first convicted felon to ever run for the White House.”
In an interview with the Sunday Mirror, Daniels, 45, expressed her opinion on the matter, suggesting that he should be sentenced to jail and also be required to perform community service, such as working for the less fortunate. She even went as far as proposing that he could serve as a volunteer punching bag at a women’s shelter.
“It was quite intimidating to be in court, with all the jurors looking at me. However, I am relieved that the truth finally came out, just as I had been saying all along.
“I refuse to believe that it’s the end for me. I know that this journey will never truly come to a close. Although Trump may be found guilty, I am left to carry the weight of his actions and the impact it has had on my life.”
On Thursday, Trump made history as the first US president to be criminally convicted. Despite this setback, he remains determined to fight the decision and will have 30 days to do so after his sentencing on July 1.
In a rather meandering address delivered at Trump Tower on Friday, he launched a scathing critique, referring to the US as a “fascist state.”
Melania Trump, the former First Lady, has not made any public comments regarding the trial, and she has remained out of the public eye during the six-week proceedings.
Stephanie Grisham, the former White House Press Secretary from 2019 to 2021, revealed in an interview with CNN that the constant inquiries about Melania’s whereabouts “absolutely” bothered the former president.
According to Grisham, it is evident that President Trump is bothered by the absence of Mrs. Trump at certain events. Grisham believes that if the First Lady were not present at an event and it was publicly acknowledged, President Trump would certainly discuss it with her.
Donald Trump Jr expressed his strong opinion on Thursday regarding the verdict, despite Melania Trump’s absence.
“This is just ridiculous,” expressed Trump Jr. on X. Recently, he had shared a video of him and his father joking about composing derogatory tweets while inside the Manhattan courthouse.
