Taylor Momsen, known for her role in “Gossip Girl,” had a rather unsettling experience during a recent performance with her band in Spain. While on stage, she had a close encounter with a bat that was a little too close for comfort.
“I have a flying bat on my leg at the moment. Could someone please assist me?” she calmly remarked into the microphone.
A group of men quickly came to Momsen’s aid on stage as she attempted to protect herself from the bat. Momsen, renowned for her role as Jenny Humphrey in “Gossip Girl,” found herself in need of assistance.
“I must be a real witch,” Momsen playfully shared with the audience. “Don’t worry, the bat is perfectly fine. He’s going to become my new buddy.”
After the concert, Momsen mentioned that she had to go to the hospital to get a rabies shot.
On Instagram, she shared, “He was adorable, but unfortunately, he did bite me. As a result, I had to go through the hassle of getting rabies shots for the next two weeks.”
Momsen expressed her gratitude to the hospital staff who affectionately referred to her as “batgirl” after hearing about her story on the local news.
In another post, Momsen expressed her opinion that getting rabies shots can be quite unpleasant.
