A 14-year-old boy was tragically killed earlier this week in London, allegedly by a 36-year-old man wielding a sword. The suspect, who resides in the city, appeared in court on Thursday, where he faced charges related to the incident. In addition to the young boy’s death, several others were also injured in the attack.
Marcus Arduini Monzo, a person with dual Spanish-Brazilian nationality, has officially identified himself at Westminster Magistrates’ Court. Currently, he is being held in custody.
Chief Magistrate Paul Goldspring has set the date for his next appearance at the Old Bailey on May 7, unless a hearing is possible on Friday.

A total of five individuals required medical treatment at hospitals following the assault, with Anjorin tragically passing away shortly after being admitted to a healthcare facility.
