In September 2023, the EPA made an exciting announcement regarding its 2023 Clean School Bus rebates. Due to this high demand, the EPA decided to double the funding, increasing it to nearly $1 billion. The third round of funding aims to expand on the previous investment of almost $2 billion through the 2022 Rebates and 2023 Grants. The goal is to enhance air quality in and around schools, decrease greenhouse gas pollution that contributes to the climate crisis, and support the advancement of clean vehicles to solidify America’s position as a leader in this field.
