A Massachusetts woman has struck gold twice this year!
Christine Wilson of Attleborough won a $1 million jackpot, the Massachusetts State Lottery announced this week, marking her second victory in ten weeks.
Wilson won her first $1 million reward on February 23 in the $50 instant ticket game “Lifetime Millions,” which she purchased at Dubs’ Discount Liquors in Mansfield.
According to a lottery press release, she elected to accept her reward as a one-time payment of $650,000 before taxes and then used some of the money to purchase an SUV.
Her second prize came from playing the $10 quick ticket game “100X Cash,” which she purchased from Family Food Mart in Mansfield. The retailer will also receive a $10,000 bonus for selling this ticket, according to the statement.
According to the lottery, Wilson said she planned to save her second win.
