Robert F. Kennedy Jr. suffered a defeat in the initial round of voting for the Libertarian Party’s presidential nomination on Sunday, a mere two days after his appearance at the party’s convention.
According to CNN, RFK Jr. garnered the backing of only 19 delegates, representing a mere 2.07% of the vote.

In a recent statement, the individual expressed the reason behind their decision not to file paperwork for the Libertarian Nomination. They acknowledged the high likelihood of securing the nomination due to the enthusiastic response from the crowd. However, the individual explained that, as the Republican Nominee, they are prohibited from obtaining the nomination of another party.
“I am confident that I will receive the majority of the Libertarian votes. Junior Kennedy, a Radical Left Democrat, has a track record of destruction, particularly in New York and New England, especially when it comes to the cost and practicality of energy. It is clear that he does not align with Libertarian principles. It would be foolish for anyone to vote for him!”
When Trump spoke at the event, the audience greeted him with fierce boos. To his dismay, he only received six write-in votes.
Nicole Shanahan, RFK Jr.’s choice for vice president, was scheduled to speak at the event on Sunday. However, due to her running mate’s loss, she will no longer be making her appearance.
