Families are reminded by DCFS that these benefits must be utilized within 122 days from the date they are added to the card to avoid forfeiture.
Looking ahead to Phase 3, the program will open up an application window for children who were not automatically enrolled in the first two phases. The ultimate goal of DCFS is to ensure that every eligible child in Louisiana has access to the SUN Bucks program.
