The Ponca City Wildcats Special Olympics Team went to Frontier for the Cowboy Country Special Olympics area meet. Twenty-five students from Po-Hi, East, West, Woodlands, Union and Liberty attended the events. The athletes competed in track and field events such as the 25 meter partner walk, 50 meter dash, 100 meter walk, turbo jav, softball throw, 4×100 relay and running long jump. The athletes who attended qualified to attend the state games in Stillwater in May.
